In this series of articles, we will tackle ten of the best ways to increase bulk vending profits. Here are the first three which are probably the most obvious:
- Carefully consider what products you are selling. Many vendors get into trying to sell 10 or 12 different kinds of products. Stick to the higher profit margin products and stay away from those products which have very low appeal to your customers.
- Consider the AMOUNT of product you are giving per quarter. I call this your "cost per vend." This is not really important when you're doing gumballs, but with candy vending it is critically important. See the link below for more information.
- Keep your products fresh. This is a no-brainer, but you would be surprise at how many bulk vendors have product that looks so bad you wouldn't feed it to the dogs. If the candy is broken, smells bad, looks bad, or has been there a long time, toss it and put in fresh.
